Fragaria vesca
Strawberry leaf is astringent, tonic and diuretic. The tannins in strawberry leaves make it a gentle remedy for diarrhea. King’s American Dispensatory, a textbook of herbal remedies used by physicians in the early 20th century recommends strawberry for treating dysentery, sexually transmitted diseases, and urinary problems. It is high in vitamin C and has antimicrobial and antifungal properties that make it useful in treating yeast infections.
Strawberry leaf tea is similar to black tea, but with a brighter, less bitter finish.

Each .2 oz brew bag will brew at least a half-gallon of tea. Remove bag within 24 hours. Keep refrigerated for five days. Plants love used tea leaves!
