Resplendent Radishes

Jun 22, 2016

Crisp, peppery radishes from Brightside Acres. Yes, they are great thinly sliced and added to salad. Have you tried them grated and added to slaw?
Or grated and added to plain yogurt, along with a bit of cilantro and lime juice? Try it! So good as a summery topping for grilled chicken or fish.
What can you expect in this week's share?
We'll have this bodacious broccoli  from S&S Farm plus lettuces, radishes, spring onions and a surprise or two. Family boxes will also have beets and spinach.
Members signed-up for bi-weekly chicken or sausage
will receive it tomorrow.
